​We are looking for a Program Manager to oversee the initialization, execution, and closure of large-scale programs and projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Program Manager will be responsible for setting up and maintaining efficient processes, tracking and reporting project statuses, and ensuring quality and compliance across all programs. Additionally, the role involves managing contracts, benefits, change control, communication, resources, and performance reviews. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects and supporting project managers in risk mitigation and issue resolution, while regularly communicating project progress to management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Project Initialization:

  • Oversees programs/projects initialization of all large-scale implementation

  • Facilitate process setup and maintenance/compliance 

  1. Project Tracking and Reporting:

  • Oversees the execution of all programs/projects by ensuring that they are monitored, and the status is reported accurately

  • Reviews and analyzes the status of all programs/projects and regularly communicates the collective status of projects to the management

  • Prepares periodic reports on the overall performance and progress of the programs/projects

  • Monitors the progress of the programs/projects at the program level  

  1. Risk Management:

  • Monitors all risks at the programs/projects level while escalating major risks to the management

  • Oversees measures to mitigate risks and supports programs/project managers in mitigating risks across projects

  1. Issue Management:

  • Monitors all issues at the programs/projects level while escalating major issues to the management

  • Oversees measures to resolve issues and supports the PMO in handling issues across programs/projects

  1. Contracts Management:

  • Managing the contracts with the vendors in cooperation with the project managers

  1. Benefits Management:

  • Monitor Benefits and related KPI

  1. Change Management:

  • Oversees change management across the program projects 

  1. Communication Management:

  • Supports all programs/projects managers in developing communication plans

  • Liaises with the internal communications lead within the entity to ensure status reporting on programs/projects meets the client’s requirements

  1. Resource Management:

  • Oversees overall resourcing for all programs/projects 

  • Manages programs/projects, including conducting performance reviews

  1. Quality Assurance:

  • Oversees the quality at the program level

  1. Project Closure:

  • Devises the quality norms and processes that would govern closure in alignment with management

  • Ensure compliance at a program level

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES:

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or Engineering preferably complemented by project management certifications like PMP.

  • Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management of which a minimum of 3 years in Program Management.

  • Job-specific skills: Project Initialization and Setup, Project Tracking and Reporting, Risk Management, Contracts Management, Resource Management, Quality Assurance, and Project Closure.
